Sylvia and her husband, Wayne, started our real estate group almost 30 years ago after a dynamic decade of partnership in the news media. She and Wayne produced and hosted interview shows in Denver and southern Colorado. Their retirement from TV was a family decision. It wasn't long before they realized real estate was a perfect fit. The PeakDream group was established in 1999, and has grown to include 3 offices serving all of southern Colorado.
Sylvia’s background includes rural and urban redevelopment, corporate training and supporting nonprofits. She is passionate about helping others achieve the American dream of home ownership, and using real estate investment as a tool for building wealth. She's proud to affiliate with the real estate brand founded by Warren Buffet -considered by many to be the most successful and respected investor of all time.
Sylvia is also a farm, ranch and small business enthusiast, and actively supports rural economic development by serving on the board of the Emergent Campus, a Florence, Colorado nonprofit.
She and Wayne share a lifelong love of music and art, and they own the Medora fine art gallery in downtown Canon City.
Sylvia grew up on a farm in rural Moorhead, Minnesota with 5 siblings, earned a BA in Journalism at the University of MN, and moved to Grand Junction Colorado for her first reporter job at KJCT, where she met Wayne. They have 2 adult daughters and enjoy food, entertaining, and getting outdoors as much as possible, usually accompanied by Scooter, the wonder dog.
